Title: Registered Nusrse(RN)
Opportunity Summary:
- Hiring a Registered Nurse for one of Long Island’s largest Healthcare System.
- All roles are currently fulltime, weekly pay, benefit options, 401k, and include growth potential.
- Specialty: Cardiology
- Hours: Monday-Friday between hours of 8a-6pm(with room for flexibility) - Potential for overtime as well!
Essential Duties Include:
- Interviewing patients for health history, including history of current complaints, and past and present use of medication utilizing patient identifies; document patient charts (must be time stamped and/or initialed)
- Maintains patient’s medical record and charts the following: nursing observation; vital signs; reactions to test, i.e., PPD results, in-house testing, and other pertinent information
- Prepares equipment and assists physician during treatments and examinations of patients
- Initiates follow-up, as necessary. Instruct patients on healthcare issues, as indicated by physician, diagnosis and/or inquiries by patient
- Assesses and triages patients as they present, either by telephone or in person
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and provide appropriate care
- Attends mandated training and keeps up-to-date on all nursing procedures including relevant procedures
Qualifications:
- NY RN License
- Ability to work in a fast paced facility
- Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19
