Description:
Client is contracted directly a large utility company to close a 70 acre ash pond. This candidate will be responsible for performing safety inspections, audits, and reports on site. They will be given a laptop and onsite vehicle to travel throughout the facility. Candidate will be reporting directly to the director of safety to report on audits and daily activity.
Daily Responsibilities:
-Site walk downs
-Craft Labor safety inspections
-Site training
-Daily Reporting
-OSHA 300 log (recordables) updates
-Ensure that safe construction practices are being utilized
Must Have:
-5 years of heavy industrial construction safety experience
-CHST, CSP, or OSHA 500
Nice to Have:
-Previous experience on utility ash pond closure projects
-Previous experience experience on large power plant construction projects
