Description:
Lead safety requirements development activities
• Interface with internal and external customers
• Produce safety requirements artifacts
• Develop compliance verification matrix
• Perform safety analysis as required by Mil-Std-882, DO178 and or ISO 26262
• Perform or direct safety qualification tests, and safety assessment for subsystem
• Support system level safety qualification and assessment activities
• Support customer safety release process

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with ISO 26262, DO 178 and or Mil-Std-882E
• Experience performing safety analysis e.g. functional hazard analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, and FMEA
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and PowerPoint)
• Able to travel occasionally for domestic destinations in support of the program potential for international travel
Desired Skills
• Safety Certification
• Experience with military autonomous ground vehicles.
• Experience going through at least one full cycle of safety qualification and release process
• Experience with Reliability is a plus
• Experience with Probabilistic Metric for Random Hardware Failures analysis.
