Description:
This position is a Integrated Product Support Specialist role in support of Strategic Systems Programs Conventional Prompt Strike (SPC-6). The position requires a working knowledge of the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements and their integration in the application of sustainment and support for the weapon system across its lifecycle. This person will be supporting the 15 to 20 pieces of equipment development and communicating the processes of this program to the customer. They will assist the IPS Functional Lead with the development and execution of the Statement of Work (SOW) and associated resource requirements for logistics-related tasking. The incumbent will act as an IPS Branch SME at all Technical Reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), and other various meetings, providing updates to senior level program management on readiness, performance issues, and status of ongoing actions. They will review various project plans and documentation for IPS input and serve as a member of the Project Risk Management Board, Configuration Control Board, and various Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings.
The candidate will:
• provide leadership in the development of the project Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) and Product Support Strategy (PSS)
• provide leadership in the development and finalization of logistics processes and procedures
• provide identification of performance issues, and recommend corrective action to achieve resolution
• provide input to the product (logistics) support portion of the program’s Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
• support the development of the Logistics Requirements and Funding Summary (LRFS) as required in support of fact finding
• Ability to communicate directly with program Office, provide strong leadership, and plan for product support efforts
