Actalent Is hiring a Software developer to join our services team in Montreal, working on exciting groundbreaking projects programing in C and in aerospace.
Description:
1. Responsible for full life-cycle development (design, development, unit testing, etc.)
2. Ability to work remotely, expected to produce independently
3. Work with the Group Manager to deliver on complex projects for our clients
4. Interface with product end users when required
5. Participate in daily and weekly stand up and scrum meetings and provide status updates

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1. The candidate must have a strong software development OR a degree in Software or Electrical Engineering
2. Object-Oriented C development experience (4 years)
3. Experience with or knowledge of unit and integration level testing
4. Understanding of Agile methodology (an asset)
5. Strong communication skills (English a must- bilingual an asset)
6. Experience in aerospace industry OR safety/documentation-heavy standards. They need to come from a functional safety-heavy industry where documentation is important. The job will not be a fit for someone who is used to other environments (ex: video game industry)
French is a strong nice to have but not required.
