Job Title: Software Engineer

Job Description

As a member of our regional solutions team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level web and desktop applications using C#, ArcObjects, and the .Net framework. The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience in a customer-facing software engineering role with responsibility for tasks in the full software development life cycle from design to end-user support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-level web and desktop applications using C#, ArcObjects, and the .Net framework.
• Engage in the full software development life cycle from design to end-user support.
• Work on applications development, object-oriented development, and GIS solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project delivery.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in C# and .Net development.
• Experience with Windows and Visual Studio.
• 3 years’ experience developing end-user applications and interfaces in a .NET development environment.
• 3 years’ experience developing end-user applications and interfaces with an object-oriented programming language.
• 1 years’ experience with commercial RDBMS such as Oracle and SQL Server.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems preferred, or a related field with a computer emphasis.
• Prior experience with GIS software preferred.
• Experience with ArcFM Solution software would be a plus.

Work Environment

This position is 100% remote and candidates can work from anywhere in the US. The initial contract is for 1-2 years with a high probability of conversion based on performance. The team currently consists of 11 full-time employees and 4 offshore contractors. The work environment supports self-sufficiency and responsibility, allowing flexibility in working from any time zone.
