What are the responsibilities and job description for the Storm Water Design Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
- Site Investigation & Due Diligence, including the review of ordinances, utility service research, agency regulations, and site visits to establish comprehensive development guidelines and Due Diligence Reports
- Design of Stormwater Management & Stormwater Conveyance Systems, including the use of Hydrology design software
- Experience/Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D Land Development Software
- Experience in the design of civil infrastructure such as site planning, roads, drainage, grading, earthworks, containments, deep excavations, ponds, stormwater management and erosion and sedimentation control water systems, sanitary sewer systems, and other municipal infrastructure
- Experience with hydraulic/hydrology modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM
- Develops and prepares reports, planning studies, specifications, detailed design drawings, and construction submittal reviews calculations, models and other technical deliverables;

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering w/ at least 5 years of experience with stormwater - civil 3D experience
- EIT or PE engineer is a nice to have not necessary if the experience is present (not mandatory)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization skills, and aptitude for problem-solving
- Demonstrates accountability, commitment, and excellent work attitude
