Description:

• Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of Existing Conditions, Preliminary Design, Schematic Design, and Construction Drawings and Documents, including specifications, throughout the project life cycle
• Perform Zoning Ordinance and Building Code analyses and apply the provisions of these items as they affect compliance depicted within the Construction Documents
• Provide testimony before local Planning and Zoning boards

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience primarily in NJ and NY
• BS in Civil Engineering, with 5-10 years of continuous and progressively expanding relevant design experience in Structural Engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office are required
• Strong knowledge of applicable PA, NJ & NY building and design codes and also be knowledgeable in the AISC, ACI, ASCE 7, TIA-EIA 222, and ASCE 10
• Strong skills in structural analytical software programs, such as STAAD III and AutoCAD
• Experience managing projects and employees
• Master’s Degree in engineering preferred
