My client is an industry leading engineering firm with a 50 year tradition of success across multiple states. They are looking to bring on a mid-level structural engineer to support commercial, healthcare and mix-used projects in the capacity of design, analysis and investigation of new and existing structures.
Description:
The structural engineer will work within a design team to complete projects on time and on budget. The structural engineering position will entail the analysis and design of new and existing structures. Responsibilities include:
- Review of architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing plans
-Develop code specified dead, live, snow and lateral loads to be applied to the structure.
- Provide design information and sketches to draft technician for the preparation of construction drawings
-Provide construction services, such as response to contractor's questions, review of shop drawings and site visits to inspect progress of work.
Skills & Qualifications:
-Bachelor degree in Structural/Civil Engineering
- FE/EIT Certification
-3 year minimum of structural design experience
