Superintendent

Get excited to join a general contractor that specializes in aviation, commercial, and vet clinics!

Description:

• Will be attending meetings with client & contractor

• Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force

• Review and be familiar with the project budget and general conditions estimate

• Review and approve Trade Contractor Payment Applications with Project Manager

• Develop and maintain site logistics plan, in coordination with Project Manager and Clients and Contractors

• Conduct quality & safety inspections

• Coordinate site testing and inspection effort

• Communicate and enforce Whiting-Turner’s Safety and Health Management Program

• Manage schedules, including preparation of look ahead schedules and ensuring all

activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates

• Prepare and submit Superintendent’s Daily Reports

• Participate in project meetings, including subcontractor meetings and conduct foreman’s

meetings

• Review and assist in developing scopes of work for each subcontractor

Skills:

Construction management, Construction, Procore, Ground up, Commercial construction, Supervision, Osha 30

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Construction Management
• Aviation project experience is a plus
• 10 years as a Superintendent
• 5 years of ground up experience (warehouse, industrial, commercial)
