What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Technican position at Actalent?
Description:
Primary job responsibilities will be utilizing the field data to resolve boundary, deed research.
Address a title commitment that includes all of the exceptions documents.
These are usually easements and things that encompass the property.
They assign them a job go through it and their expectations, they go through the research, field research for the crew, title commitment comes in, get points from field, they draft it, do initial boundary resolution.
RPLS' will help them through this to determine the boundary resolution.
They will get comments from the lenders/attorney and they give those to the drafter.
calculating points for construction staking, creating drawings, drafting plats, easements, surveys, topographic surveys
The crews use TBC to import their data (Trimble Business Center)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-Autocad civil 3D proficiency
Experience with Land Development is preferable
3-5 Years experience in the office
Trimble Field and Office experience is preferable
-understanding of boundary resolution, easements, and plats
-ability to gather survey data in the field
-create and put together survey drawings
-Associates or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
-Ability to obtain SIT certification preferred
