Job Description
Assist the Survey Technician I and Survey Party Chief in performing the duties required to complete any surveying jobs. Responsibilities include marking points of measurement with elevation, station number, or other identifying marks, measuring distance between survey points with steel or cloth tape or surveyors, and placing stakes at designated points and driving them into the ground at specified elevation.

- Assist Survey Technician I and Survey Party Chief in various tasks to complete surveying jobs.
Essential Skills
- Experience in land surveying and topography.
- Willingness to perform field work.
- Ability to place stakes and mark areas of land accurately.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Experience in surveying and construction.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Entry-level position.
- Field work experience.
- CAD experience is a bonus for drafting processes or willingness to learn CAD software.
- Ability to work independently.
- Background in staking, site construction, paving, or dirt work.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime should be expected. Work involves a lot of fieldwork in Tiffin, IA. Employees use company trucks for daily operations and are provided with a company cell phone and tablets for survey work.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00
