Test Design Engineer
Actalent is looking for full-time Test Designer Engineer to support our client, a leading local off-highway organization, onsite in various locations. We are hiring for multiple roles, ranging from entry-level to experienced.
DESCRIPTION:
As a Test Design Engineer, you will create new, and improve existing test systems for off-highway electronics systems. You will be working at the intersection of hardware, software, and test fixture integration.
Responsibilities include:
-Generate and review requirements for test systems
-Create and review hardware and software testing architectures and designs
-Analyze results of tests to recommend and implement design improvements
- Write and implement code using LabVIEW
-Perform unit, integration, and systems verification and validation testing
-Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure the final product is effectively integrated.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
-Experience with LabVIEW or National Instruments products
-Experience working with requirements
-Experience working with electronics, preferably in a ruggedized environment (off-road vehicles)
-Experience working with hardware systems (transistors, A/D converters, etc.)
-Familiarity with communication protocols preferred (CAN, ethernet, USB, RS-232, etc.)
-Familiarity or experience with Pspice, MathCAD, or OrCad preferred
