What are the responsibilities and job description for the Women's Health RN position at Actalent?
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the team at one of the top fertility and in vitro fertilization programs in the state in Hartford, CT. Their mission is to provide advanced infertility treatment through the combined application of high-quality patient care, clinical education, and research. They strive for excellence in a team orientated environment that values respect, initiative, and compassion.
Job Description: Will perform daily tasks such as patient intake, provide comprehensive patient education and teaching, utilize an EMR system for documentation, telephone triage and patient call-backs, prior authorizations, order diagnostic testing, participates in the research process as appropriate, coordination of treatment plan and follow up, etc.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (start time as early at 6:30AM) Every other weekend and willing to work at least 1 major holiday a year.
Qualifications: Required -
•Current licensure. State of Connecticut
•Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as licensed RN (OR/PACU nice to have)
•Ability to multitask and focus on details
•Ability to commute easily between Farmington and other satellite/outreach offices as needed
Preferred Skills:
•Reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) and/or IVF experience nice to have
•BSN nice to have
