Industrial Equipment Sales Representative

Founded in 1972, Action Vibratory Equipment is committed to the design and manufacture of innovative material-handling solutions. We serve customers worldwide, in industries including sawmills, foundries, quarries, power plants, and recycling facilities.

ACTION is an employee-owned company looking for the right sales candidate to join our team with a passion and an aptitude for industrial equipment and custom solutions:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, targeting, and contacting leads
  • Determining customer needs and technical machinery applications/solutions
  • Interfacing and collaborating with our in-house engineering team
  • Generating price quotations and conducting timely customer follow-up
  • *This position requires travel on a limited basis for customer visitations & trade shows

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to develop a high level of technical expertise in our product offerings
  • Minimum 3 years of technical sales experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Friendly and relationship-oriented with a focus on prompt customer service
  • Strong ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Willing to work in-office. This is not a remote position.

The following skills are preferred, but not required:

  • Experience in vibratory equipment and/or material handling equipment
  • Background in engineering, drafting or other technical field
  • Bilingual/Multilingual skills (written and verbal)

ACTION provides a full benefits package (employee stock ownership, 401(k), medical, dental, vacation, holidays, life insurance and disability coverage). Salary will be commensurate with experience.

This is a salaried position with annual bonuses dependent upon performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
