Job description
Supervisor candidates Should possess the following:
- A strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Warehouse and Distribution experience is a plus
- Solid problem solving skills
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
- Team Building Skills
Must pass a background and drug test!
Responsibilities
- Holding and documenting daily shift meetings
- Following up on discussion items brought up during shift meetings
- Resolving day to day issues with the support of the Site Manager
- Enforcing Action Logistics safety policy on the dock
- Ensuring dock area remains organized and associates are adhering to Action
Logistics processes and procedures
- Responsibility for ensuring that dock personnel have all the resources needed
to perform job duties
- Coordinating and distributing daily work assignments
- Holding associates accountable and taking disciplinary action when necessary
