Overview
**Active Day has an available opportunity for a Center Director to join our team!**
This dynamic leader will oversee operations at one of our Adult Day Health Centers! You will lead a passionate team with the focus and commitment of improving the lives of our members, and you will have fun doing it! Active Day serves individuals ages 18 and older who receive home and community-based services that promote socialization and optimal health while helping our members stay in the community and avoid long-term care placements!

You will manage, direct, and coordinate health/medical/socialization services in our friendly, close-knit atmosphere at Active Day. We pride ourselves in being an intimate center, so approachability and motivation are essential to our program's - and your - success!

Responsibilities
As Center Director your responsibilities will include:
- Providing leadership in all areas of operations including person-centered care initiatives, personnel management, quality and safety, programming, community relations, and financial oversight.
- Growing the business through community networking and an active referral base;
- Sharing all Active Day has to offer with the community and demonstrate the benefits and successes of our center.
- Coordinate\ with caregivers, families, social services agencies, and medical professionals to develop effective care plans for members.
- Member admissions and discharges.
- A strong collaboration with the Regional Director, ensuring a firm understanding of the Center’s Profit & Loss, budget and census needs so as to ensure we meet financial objectives and meet or exceed targeted census goals.
- Ensuring our members feel surrounded by JOY, LOVE, and UNDERSTANDING while they are in our care! this is their home away from home!!
Qualifications
As Center Director your qualifications will include:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a health and human services field, from an accredited college or university, or the individual shall be a registered nurse.
- Minimum of three-years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.
- Prior experience working with seniors and/or adults with special needs preferred.
- Strong collaborative, interpersonal, organization and multi-tasking skills.
- Able to build and lead a high-performance, effective and cross-functional team that consistently achieves or exceeds defined goals and objectives.
- Able to work a flexible schedule.
