Active Edge Physical Therapy of Oregon City is looking for a responsible, motivated individual to work as a Physical Therapy Aide at our orthopedic/sports clinic. We are a fun, motivated team who pride ourselves on excellent patient care with a strong community focus. We provide a comprehensive, holistic approach to address the full kinetic chain and help individuals optimize overall function.
Training for the applicant will be done upon hiring. We are looking for someone with morning and/or afternoon availability, M-F. The position is part-time, with weekly number of hours negotiable. We are looking for the right individual with the ideal combination of personality and educational/work experience within a variety of patient populations. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates from college to work alongside PT's and gain valuable experience to get into a PT or PTA program.
The applicant must be at least 18 years of age, is preferred to have a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Sports Science, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Athletic Training or similar healthcare or science related field, but this is not required. Personal training certification or experience is a plus but also not required.
Job tasks will include, but are not limited to:
-Assistance with client exercise programs & modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, ice)
-Front office assistance (answering phone, scheduling, filing, etc...)
-Cleaning, laundry, and light maintenance duties
-Ordering supplies, keeping items stocked
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel-accurate typing skills
