What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Ops Coordinator position at Activision?
The HR Operations Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day human resource data maintenance. Our goal is to ensure exceptional customer service in responding to questions and resolving issues, while maintaining data integrity in our HR Systems, electronic employee file and HR records, and assistance with various HR special projects.
Your role will include but not be limited to the following responsibilities:
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of HR programs, plans, policies, and processes, payroll, and HR systems.
- Support various processes including Employment verifications, Unemployment claim inquiries and timekeeping support.
- Maintain HR Records to include personnel files and other employee documents; complete requests for HR records.
- Perform audits and controls inside Workday to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, Wage and Hour, and HR policies and procedures.
- Follow Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) and process workflows. Participate and contribute to the pro-active review and implementation of process improvements.
- Knowledgebase content, including article creation and maintenance.
- Monitor the HR Operations shared inbox and respond or escalate inquiries as appropriate.
- Answer client group/HR questions and resolve issues ensuring exceptional customer service satisfaction.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
Player Profile
- Associate’s degree in HR / Business or related field; or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years at the HR Coordinator level required
- Experience in HR Operations and/or Shared Services environment preferred
- Enterprise HRIS system experience required - Workday preferred
- Strong Word and Excel software skills
- Exceptional detail orientation and organization skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be customer-focused and have strong customer service skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
