What are the responsibilities and job description for the Acupuncturist position at Acuboston, Inc?

If this sounds like you, we invite you to apply to join our busy acupuncture and herbal medicine practice. AcuBoston is a fully integrative clinic offering acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine with locations in Brookline, MA and Dedham, MA. We’re currently seeking to add one to two acupuncturists to our team and serve our growing clientele. Bonus If you have experience with herbs!! This position can be part time or full time, with the freedom to choose your own hours.

Job Requirements aka musts:
- Maintain all professional certifications up-to-date, including but not limited to Massachusetts Acupuncture License, NCCAOM Certification and CPR/First Aid Certification
- Provide acupuncture and other treatments in the scope of practice to patients
- Collect health insurance information for new patients
- Ensure proper insurance billing of patients for appointments
- Help facilitate marketing events, no more than 3 a year. Any hours worked during these events may be applied to your regular work week as free time.
- Keep clinic organized and stocked, facilitate and direct interactions with patients.
- Maintain Electronic Health Records EHR via Jane App (training provided)
Not required but a plus to have:
- Assess patient's herbal needs, prescribe herbal formulas
- Make custom herbal formulas at the in-house pharmacy
- Help maintain inventory of Chinese herbs and supplements.
