Job Scope The Field Audit Supervisor will oversee a team of Field Auditors, providing direction and leadership to ensure inventory audits are completed accurately and timely. The Field Audit Supervisor will guide the team in the coordination, planning, and execution of field physical inventory audits; ensuring final audit reconciliation is posted in our ERP system. The Field Audit Supervisor is responsible for maintaining accurate records for proper field inventory visibility and inventory discrepancy resolution. The Field Audit Supervisor is also responsible for preparing and presenting inventory audit findings and financial impact reporting to senior leadership. The Field Audit Supervisor must maintain effective communication between the department, the sales leadership team, Independent Sales Consultants (ISCs), Sales Reps, and Finance regarding the audit planning, execution, and reconciliation process. Responsibilities Plans, directs and coordinates the activities of the Field Audit team; providing leadership, guidance and training. Support the Field Audit team with field travel to conduct physical audits throughout the US as needed. Builds working relationships and maintains high level of communication with US and International Sales Management, ISCs and Distributors Maintains proper inventory controls and traceability for inventory across physical locations. Monitors the cost, accuracy and efficiency of physical inventory reconciliations. Communicates with sales and operations personnel to discuss inventory discrepancies, escalation and resolution. Participates in the annual budgeting process and monitors monthly budget vs actual expenses. Develops and maintains audit schedule for future planning and forecasting. Defines and communicates ISC targets and monitors Field Auditor workflow performance including timeliness, quality, and accuracy. Documents and maintains the policies, procedures, and SOPs for the Field Audit team. Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and resource allocation while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer service. Ensures compliance with inventory audit policy requirements. Ensures team maintains any necessary credentialing and compliant interactions with hospital staff. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field plus 5 years of experience in inventory management and the application of supply chain principles, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior supervisory experience or leadership role preferred. Working knowledge of field inventory auditing principles and practices. Familiarity with general accounting principles and internal controls. High level of proficiency with MS Office applications. ERP experience required; SAP experience highly preferred. Ability to use reason and logic to resolve problems and make decisions in ambiguous and high pressure situations. Ability to lead, manage, coach and mentor a team. High level of attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively. Ability to develop and establish metrics, policies and procedures. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, with little supervision. Knowledge of personnel policies and procedures.
