Position Summary:
Acuren Inspection is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support our operations in Akron, OH.
The Administrative Assistant will perform administrative and office support activities. Duties will include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, filing, faxing, and may include coordination of purchasing and facilities management. Extensive software skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced, change environment.
Responsibilities:
- Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages
- Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities
- Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers
- Compute, record, and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports
- Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer
- Open, sort, and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail
- Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests
- Greet and direct all visitors and clients
- File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work
- Assist with any other departmental duties as required, to include uploading payroll spreadsheets

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
