Position Summary:
Acuren Inspection is currently recruiting a Quality Manger to support our laboratory operation in West Boylston, MA. The Quality Assurance Manager works with all levels of the division to ensure the delivery of exceptional quality performance to the division’s clients.
Responsibilities:
- Promote a culture of safe operation and peak performance in an environment of shared respect.
- Evolve the Quality Management System to assure ongoing alignment with client requirements.
- Monitor compliance with all aspects of the QMS at each location within the division.
- Conduct periodic employee Quality training.
- Prepare for and lead client and third-party facility audits.
- Interface with clients on technical and Quality issues.
- Maintain Quality records.
- Participate in the recommendation and selection of new equipment.
- Deliver on internal (project) and external (client) commitments.
- Participate in the construction of business and strategic plans.
- Perform other duties as may be required from time to time.
Requirements:
- BS in Materials Science, Metallurgy or other relevant technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years in aerospace materials lab setting or aerospace materials-related field.
- Training and experience as an Internal Auditor.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed technical specifications and drawings.
- Knowledge and experience with quality programs (ISO 17025, Nadcap).
- Aerospace and Power Generation OEM quality requirements familiarity preferred.
- Prior managerial experience and proven leadership, motivational and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel periodically (<10%).
- Excellent technical verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Keyboarding proficiency (40 wpm preferred).
- Ability to safely carry out oral and written work instructions.
Physical Requirements:
- Position requires sitting, standing at equipment, limited lifting (max lift 50 lbs) and walking.
