Position Summary
Acuren is currently recruiting for RT 2 Technicians to support work in the Pacific Region (Burnaby). If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.
Position Information:
- Project based
- Approx. 40 hours per week
- 4 days on/ 3 days off, 10 hours per shift
- Potential for OT during outages
- Project starting as soon as possible
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned NDE/NDT inspection methods.
- Utilize written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
- Follow standards and procedures and monitor to ensure accuracy of results and meets quality and safety objectives and project time-lines.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with Clients.
Requirements
- CGSB RT Level 2 Certification
- Candidates are required to be local and/or surrounding area
- Additional CGSB certifications would be an asset
- Strong work ethics
- Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients
- Exceptional safety and quality awareness
- Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
- Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
- Valid driver's license
- IRATA training or willingness to obtain is an asset
