Position Summary:
Under the guidance of certifiedNDE/NDT technicians, the NDT Assistant will provide support by setting up and utilizing NDT equipment, assist in performing NDE/NDT procedures, assist withrecordinginspectionresults, and other related operations.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
- AssistNDE/NDT techniciansin the calibration of NDT equipment
- AssistNDE/NDT techniciansto conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
- Record results of inspections
- Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
- Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- American Institute of Nondestructive Testing diploma/certificate in NDT -Nondestructive Testing
- Technologyrequired(including upcoming program graduates)
- Technical/mechanicalbackground desired
- May require qualification of experience, credentials, and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
- Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
