Non-Destructive Testing & Chemical Processing Internship

If you are a motivated individual with high attention to detail, the Non-Destructive Testing Internship is perfect for you! The Non-Destructive Testing Intern will be responsible for assisting with the processing of flight critical and learning how to properly evaluate parts. You will learn proper processing techniques for magnetic particle and liquid penetrant. As an intern you will train with certified, trained NDT technicians in the field and work with top notch personnel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist Level 2 NDT techs with the processing of jobs.
• Assist with evaluation of parts and acquire the skill to properly disposition parts.
• Provide internal and external customer support.
• Assist with magnetic particle and liquid penetrant testing.
• Perform daily calibrations correctly and in a timely fashion.

Key Roles

• Assisting inspection process with level 1 and 2 supervision gaining chemical process understanding
• Demonstrates proficiency at the required skills.
• Ensure Training and Calibrations are up to date.
• Maintains safe operations through 5S and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• High attention to detail.
