Our Accountant plays an integral role in supporting the business’s operations, facilitating the timely completion and analysis of financial results and accounting transactions, leading an efficient close process, and understanding internal and external requirements to ensure accurate reporting.
The Accountant is responsible for (Essential Functions):
- Participate in the day-to-day finance and accounting operations
- Reconciles account balances such as cash, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Maintain company credit cards and perform reconciliations
- Assist management in month end accounting close process
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare fixed asset and accumulated depreciation amortization schedules
- Help maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
- Able to reprioritize tasks quickly with accuracy
- Post customer payments in AR on a weekly basis
- Keep record of Business Tax licenses and payments and calendar the same
- Assist in the preparation of audit material as required, work with the auditor as needed
- Involvement in various accounting projects as directed by management
- Monitor all aspects related to financial health including general ledger account balances, accounting vendor performance, research of financial issues, FAS & CAS related issues and a variety of other tasks associated with the Accounting Department

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and responsibility.
