Job Title: Production Assembler
Job Summary: The ideal candidate will support production activities at our Littleton, CO location. The production assembler will be an integral part of a small, fast paced, quality driven team that is responsible for building products to meet production and United States Government customer demands.
This work requires very good hand / eye coordination. Candidates must also have strong attention to detail as they will be responsible for following specific work instructions.
The Production Assembler should expect to work on their feet for shifts of as many as eight hours in a manufacturing or assembly plant environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to do repetitive processes with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Follow procedures, policies and drawings for accuracy and product quality.
- Assemble components, subassemblies and final assemblies in accordance with approved operations and procedures.
- Ability to work with small parts and materials.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20lbs.
- Works at different work stations as production needs require.
- Checks finished product for possible defects and assures that manufacturing units meet quality control procedures.
- Adhere to all regulations, relating to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Comply with all corporate policies and procedures.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- High school graduate or GED.
- Ability to be reliable and punctual on a regular basis.
- Ability to perform job activities independently utilizing safe techniques.
- Ability to follow required procedures and techniques to accomplish goals at a consistent pace.
- Must be able to interact with others within a small company in a respectful and harmonious manner at all times.
- Ability to read English, follow instructions and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Must display the maturity of action and judgment with a demonstrated track record from their previous experience and assignments.
- Background check required.
- Ability to work second shift or Friday-Sunday shift (may be required).
- This position will be located at a facility that requires special access. U.S. Citizenship required.
Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hourly rate range is $19.00/hr - $22.00 per/hour worked. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. ADA considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
