Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Provide support in acute care settings by assisting nursing staff with patient assessments and interventions.
- Help patients with mobility, including lifting and transferring them safely as needed.
- Engage with patients in behavioral health settings to promote mental well-being and provide emotional support.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a teaching hospital environment to enhance patient care practices.
- Document patient information accurately while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.

- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an accredited nursing program is preferred.
- Experience in pediatrics, critical care, or memory care settings is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Knowledge of patient care procedures and safety protocols in acute care environments.
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices is an advantage.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an accredited nursing program is preferred.
- Experience in pediatrics, critical care, or memory care settings is highly desirable.

SKILLS:
*Obtaining patient vital signs and escorting patients to their rooms
*Administering injections of medications
SHIFTS: 8 HR SHIFTS, 25 hours week guaranteed, OT available
Duration: Ongoing contract, can be renewed every 6-12 months
