As an Integrated Systems Field Application Engineer, you will work closely with the Integrated Systems Product Managers and Field Application Engineers, R&D, Customer Service and Inside Sales departments to deliver high quality product and project support for the Integrated Systems portfolio within the Adam Hall Group brands.

These are your tasks:
Pre-sales support
- You offer comprehensive information about our Integrated Systems products designed for AV applications and provide global project and design support, either remotely or on-site, for AV projects, which also includes networking assistance.
- You create block diagrams, schematics, or any other technical documentation to assure the full understanding of project solutions and conduct product and solution tests at the in-house locations (Barcelona or HQ in Neu-Anspach, Germany) to meet project requirements.
- Perform in-house or on-site product demos when required from sales, or product management department and build customer loyalty by providing high quality product and solution support.
- You take part in trade fairs and external trainings and represent the company in training courses in coordination with Product Management.
- You actively check and update the Integrated Systems products in the Adam Hall Barcelona showroom to ensure successful customer demos.
Post-sales support
- Offer remote troubleshooting for technical issues via phone or email, recording these instances in the relevant applications, and reporting technical issues to Product Management, Field Application colleagues, R&D, and customer service department.
- Perform in-house product tests to solve issues reported from customers.
- Provide on-site commissioning services, including documentation and troubleshooting, for significant projects requiring this service.
Product Management support
- Provide new product ideas, or product improvement suggestions to product management department.
- Regularly update and maintain our technical knowledge base documentation, integrating insights garnered from project support, encompassing use cases, networking design, and troubleshooting tips
- Perform field tests for new developed products and maintain communication within the Field Application Engineer department, as well as other support and development departments.
- Maintain and develop knowledge on all subjects related to AV Networking
- Assist in creation of product training material and product presentations.
What you bring with you:
- Education: An advantage will be a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering or any comparable education, focussing on AV-Technology
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years working within the AV industry, engaged in tasks outlined previously, with experience in using acoustic analysis and simulation tools, such as Smaart and EASE, and with CAD software and MS Visio.
- Know-how: Deep knowledge in the areas of AV/Pro Audio and third-party control integration as well as extensive comprehension of AV Networking (e.g., Dante, AVB), with a strong grasp of the TCP/IP model and networking protocols (e.g., Multicast, IGMP, 802.X, QoS, VLANs).
- Soft Skills: Your work approach is defined by accountability, teamwork, consistency, autonomy, and a focus on achieving results. Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear internal reports are essential.
- Others: Proficient language skills in English and Spanish and availability for international travel.
