This is an independent sales position for an honest, hardworking, dependable, self-motivated individual to have a career as a Route Sales/Delivery Driver to service established territory in Norfolk, and surrounding area, as well as continue to grow business!
Duties include:
Selling & servicing stores with name brand products such as Mission, Barrel O' Fun, Dot's, and more! Taking orders for stores, sorting products, loading own truck, delivering to stores, stocking food products in stores, merchandising.
Operate handheld scanners and printers to accurately make invoices, credits, and take store orders.
Work with store Managers to build strong, lasting relationships! Have genuine concern for customer and company's needs! Guide yourself with good decision making when not being observed.
Applicants must have the following:
Be at least 19 years old
Clean driving record and background
Be able to pass initial and random drug screenings
Be able to pass a DOT physical exam
Standing, bending, kneeling, with ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Must be an organized individual with great customer service skills, and be able to maintain a professional and presentable appearance! Early morning hours are a must!
Preferred candidates would have experience with DSD (direct store delivery), sales, distributing, grocery store stocking, merchandising, or retail experience is ideal but willing to train the right person!
Commission based and paid weekly!
