Job Title: Content Coordinator
CSM is looking for a Content Coordinator to join our team. You will work collaboratively with designers, copywriters, and other product specialists to manage, coordinate, create, and troubleshoot all aspects of product content for web-based platforms like Amazon, HomeDepot.com, Wayfair, Walmart.com and others as well as physical print content for product packaging, displays, and mockups. You will work with internal and external partners to ensure content is high quality and delivered on time.
As our Content Coordinator, you will be reporting directly to our Creative Director and working alongside a team of designers and developers to ensure project accuracy, quality, and constant flow of communications. You will work on a wide variety of marketing materials, including print collateral and website updates. You're a detail-oriented individual who thrives on multi-tasking and executing to success. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading a team (applying, providing, and/or suggesting feedback to your team members), and takes initiative. You have a strong understanding of marketing and design concepts, and enjoy creating content that's both visually appealing and strategically sound. You have experience managing projects from start to finish, and have excellent communication skills which will be necessary to report out during client meetings (both internal and external account management teams) with project updates and solutions for bottlenecks.
As our Content Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate all projects between copywriting and graphic design teams and report to Creative Director
- This includes: ensuring all necessary assets and data are available at time of project launch, bottleneck issues are resolved quickly, deadlines are met, project statuses are communicated, documented, and tracked
- Content creation
- Physical print packaging and mockup projects
- New design concepts for our online content
- Suggestions to strengthen SEO and report on competitor analysis findings
- Following established documented workflows with ability to recommend efficiency updates or create, document, and train team members on new workflows
- Quality assurance for all assets before client deliveries
- Providing updates during client meetings
- Product sample photography and/or coordinating with a freelance photographer
- Work directly with internal and external teams for project needs
- Go Live tracking on all marketplaces for all content
- Ability to make changes to content working files in times of tight deadline deliveries
- Ability to autonomously manage time and deadlines while maintaining composure when juggling multiple tasks
Skill Requirements:
- 1-3 years of applicable experience in related field
- Must be able to commute to our San Leandro, CA office. Necessary for in-person collaboration projects (including but not limited to: product sample photography, packaging print mock-up and troubleshooting)
- Candidate will be expected to be present in office for high priority collaboration projects; current in-office hours are 3-days at office with option to work 2-days at home for right candidate.
- Ability to oversee synchronicity between Copywriters and Graphic Designers projects
- Expected to maintain high level knowledge of all open projects, milestones, and due dates
- Comfortable speaking in client meetings and providing updates
- Adobe CC Proficiency
- CMYK Literate
- Basic printer operation/maintenance/cleaning
- Hex to Pantone color conversion knowledge
- Open to performing additional tasks when the team needs it
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Organized and a team player
Additional Skill Considerations:
- Website backend experience (including Shopify, Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, HomeDepot.com, Wayfair, Walmart.com, Target.com)
- Photography background
- 3D Rendering background
- Photo manipulation: Clean up; color correction; dropping product into background
- Asset database organization/management
- Content quality assurance experience
- Experience working in Microsoft Suite: Excel Spreadsheets, Word Docs, Powerpoint Presentations, Microsoft Teams, Outlook Email
- Experience with project tracking via Monday.com
- Knowledge of SEO
