Job Description - Property Manager of Your Storage Units, Ocoee
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Maintain daily operations of storage property.
- Successful conversion of Leads
- Sales of boxes, locks, and packing material
- Manage account receivable process through pursuit of collections, posting of payments, and processing of daily bank deposit.
- Ensures the company standards of cleanliness & appearance.
- Marketing to local businesses and apartment managers
- Maintain accurate records for each customer including lease, addendums, and correspondence.
- Perform light repair and maintenance duties, including but not limited to: clean units and interior buildings, wiping down doors, pickup up trash, cleaning hallways, office, and bathrooms
- Perform preventive maintenance such as but not limited to: change HVAC filters as required, grease door springs on roll-up doors, oil gate chain as needed, routine maintenance of golf cart
- Monitors the physical condition of the property and reports any maintenance issues.
- Oversee contractors and third-party vendor’s work.
- Maintain foreclosure documentation organized and accurate, following company foreclosure checklist and set guidelines.
- Assist with the auction process.
Job Requirements:
- Needs to be available to travel our portfolio to identify and correct facility issues (extended overnights).
- Excellent communication skills both on the phone and in person
- Works well in a team setting or independently
- Has good organizational skills and basic bookkeeping
- Knowledge of computers is a must (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Etc.)
- Valid driver's license and insurance with access to reliable transportation
- Open work availability, including weekends and some holidays
- Ability & willingness to perform light maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, wiping, lifting, etc.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a High School Diploma/GED equivalent and at least two years of related experience (sales/customer service/leasing/rentals)
- Must be a team player and have strong leadership skills
- Must be profit driven
- Job requires constant movement and must be able to lift and move 35 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Must have clean employment history, criminal history, driving record and pass a drug screen
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
