SUMMARY
Director of Budget is responsible for assisting in preparing and monitoring the agencys annual budget, analyzing the budget to actual on a monthly basis, preparing the Consolidated Fiscal Report (CFR), and performing other work related to program budgets and rate reimbursement for ADAPT and all affiliated entities. This position must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of accounting and various reimbursement methodologies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of the Director of Budget will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assist with preparation of annual agency budgets.
Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, comparing budget to actual revenue and expenses for each program.
Assist with preparation of annual Consolidated Fiscal Report (CFR) and related supporting CFR reporting documents.
Assist with preparation of annual AHCF Report and related supporting AHCF reporting documents.
Review program rate sheets and property reimbursement to ensure correct funding for OPWDD and SED programs.
Property Reimbursement
Preparation of Prior Property Approval (PPA) Requests and review related funding approvals
Preparation of Final Expenditure Report (FER)
Assist in supervising the Budget Department and Contract Management staff, including on-site assistance and oversight in managing projects, responsibilities, and deadlines.
Perform other related duties and special projects as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with executives, coworkers, Program Directors and outside contacts.
Must be able to maintain the strictest confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to analyze problems and determine corrective measures.
Proficiency in the use of a personal computer, appropriate software, and e-mail system
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
General working knowledge of accounting and related terminology
Thorough understanding of the various reimbursement methodologies
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in one of the following: Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics and/or Economics
Not-for-profit industry experience required.
COMPENSATION: $150,000 Annually Industry-Leading Benefits!
