What are the responsibilities and job description for the Screen Printing Tech position at Adcraft?
Adcraft is in search of an experienced screen printer to join the team!
This position is labor intensive and involves operating screen printing presses and other duties around the department. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of printing techniques, and the ability to maintain and troubleshoot printing machinery.
Our production team members are required to utilize excellent time management skills to keep up with the high volume and demand of each day. We are only interested in an individual who can handle a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Operate automatic or manual presses including setup and tear down to produce garments per order specifications.
- Understand workorders and verify counts, products, ink colors, design specifications, and print locations.
- Identify and address any issues or malfunctions in the printing process.
- Mixing ink
- Maintain and exceed production schedule.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Other duties around the department include reclaiming screens, burning screens, catching long shirt runs, and more.
Requirements:
- Screen Printing Experience is required.
- The ability to handle labor intensive work on a daily basis
- Driver's license
- The ability to maintain a consistent, punctual, and reliable schedule.
- Self-driven, goal oriented.
- Excellent time management
- Positive and fluent communication.
- DETAIL oriented to an extreme degree.
- The ability to learn and adjust to new technology and procedures.
