Title: Assistant Controller
Location: Oxnard, CA (onsite daily)
Comp: $165K - $180K
The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for the overall management and execution of the corporate accounting function and manage a team up to five people. The job responsibilities listed below are essential to the role and the experience is required. No flexibility on skill set.
Responsibilities
- Generate financial reports for senior leadership
- Monitor and analyze balance sheets, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Full-cycle corporate accounting & reporting
- Maintain accounting policies/SOX controls
- CPG production/manufacturing is a must
- Financial statement preparation
- Consolidations
- Oversee General ledger
- Periodic financial closes & external audit
- Vendor contract management, streamline & document processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field
- Public Accounting
- CPA (Inactive or Active)
- Public company experience - Over $400M
- Manufacturing
- Business partner to Sales and Operations
- Strategic Thinker
