Our client, a reputable legal firm in Manhattan, is seeking a skilled Event Specialist to join their dynamic team.

Location: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid)

Salary: $35-40 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Working Hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Overtime required)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with catering services and other resources for conferences and events
• Plan and coordinate event logistics
• Liaise with vendors, IT personnel, maintenance staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless event coordination.
• Interact professionally with C-level executives, providing high-level support and assistance as needed.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey event details and requirements.
• Assist in budget creation and ensure events meet budget expectations
• Oversee event execution, attend events, and ensure seamless operations
• Order and maintain supplies, coordinate maintenance calls
• Ensure all necessary materials, gifts, and technology are available for events

Requirements:

• Previous experience specifically within the legal or professional services industry is required, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in organizing corporate events within this sector.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning
• Proven experience in planning meetings and events with over 300 attendees
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends
