Job Description:
As a Retirement Plans Analyst, you will work closely with the Retirement Plans Manager to support various aspects of retirement plan administration. This includes handling participant inquiries, generating benefit statements, reconciling reports, and assisting with compliance tasks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the firm's retirement plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for routine participant inquiries regarding retirement plans, providing accurate information and assistance.
- Deliver presentations on retirement plan details during new hire orientation sessions.
- Generate and review benefit statements for participants and process benefit payments as needed.
- Reconcile monthly reports and payments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to address plan-related matters effectively.
- Assist with ad-hoc reports, special projects, and compliance notices as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Retirement Plans administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (including PIVOT tables and VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of retirement systems administration and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
