Team lead

Award winning Tax office located in Deerfield is seeking a professional Administrative Assistant with three years of Tax experience and one year of supervisory experience.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks of tax preparation as well as overseeing administrative employees, delegating tasks, making sure processes are being followed and work is getting done on time.

Job Description :

• Oversee and supervise the in-office team of tax administrators
• Utilize firm procedures and tracking systems to ensure all projects are completed accurately and timely
• Manage the completion of all filing, including communication with Department Personnel to resolve errors
• Maintain content for internal document management
• Receive, scan, and maintain physical tax documents received from clients and convert to electronic formats for procession
• Process tax returns, typically via electronic means using SafeSend platforms, but occasionally in paper
• Type and execute letters, general correspondence, and other documentation as needed
• Provide project / administrative support in other areas of the tax department as needed

Required Experience :

• Must be able to work

overtime hours

for peak tax seasons

• Tech savvy and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, able to learn new software
• In office 5 days a week
