Job Description
Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Remote (Canada), Must be ready to travel to customer once per quarter
Timing: EST / CST
As a DevSecOps Engineer you will be responsible for delivering technical solutions and services to our clients. You will work closely with clients, sales teams, technical leadership and internal and customer stakeholders to understand client requirements, design customer solutions and provide expert technical guidance. Your expertise in the DevSecOps arena and the ability to implement and optimize our services is paramount to ensuring client satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
Project Responsibilities:
- Establish quality standards and methods that ensure on-time and in-scope delivery
- Responsible for technical hands on project delivery (IaC development, CICD pipeline development, cloud infrastructure architecture, etc).
- Ensures that risk is analyzed and mitigated for each project
- Help to remove technical blockers
- Ensure open communication of project(s) status with technical leads
- Provide both tactical implementation and strategic DevSecOps expertise to our customers.
Technical Skills:
- Azure DevOps Expertise
- Google Cloud Platform Expertise
- Expertise in driving customer's DevOps adoption & transformation efforts
- Proficient with Terraform
- Proficient with Docker
- Proficient working with GIT version control
- Proficient with various testing and scanning tools (ex. SonarQube, Snyk, BlackDuck, etc.)
- Hands on experience working with Configuration Management platform(s) (Chef, SaltStack, Ansible, etc)
- Hands on experience with GitOps
- Hands on experience with Python
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps process and governance
- Strong understanding of various branching patterns
