Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to target data stores.
• Work with business users and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and design SSIS solutions to meet those needs.
• Develop and implement data quality and validation checks within SSIS packages.
• Test and debug SSIS packages to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Deploy and monitor SSIS packages in production environments.
• Optimize SSIS packages for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with SSIS packages.
• Document SSIS packages and associated processes.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest SSIS features and best practices.
• Developing and maintaining data warehouses and data marts.
• Creating and deploying reports using SSRS.
• Working with other BI technologies such as SSAS and MDX.
• Providing technical support and training to other users.

Education

• Engineering Degree - BE/BTech/MTech/BCA/MCA/BSc (IT/CS)
• Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable

Mandatory Skills

• Candidate should have experience with Microsoft SQL databases, SSIS / SSRS development.
• Demonstrated Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and above including managing databases and the use of Microsoft SSMS
• Must have experience with handling XML data using SSIS, XML to DB load, searching data in big XML, from DB to XML.
• Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft SSIS to create and deploy packages and deploy for ETL processes.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SSRS for creating and publishing reports.
• Demonstrated experience around writing and troubleshooting T-SQL statements, creating stored procedures, views, and SQL functions.
• Must be very good in SQL, Performance Tuning
• Understands different data models like normalized, de-normalized, stars, and snowflake models.
• 2 years of experience with data analytics and development.
• SSRS report development / deployment.
• Strong SQL coding experience with performance optimization experience for data queries.
• Need to understand and be able to interpret data.
• Strong critical / analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in fast paced, rapidly changing and complex environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn new skills quickly to make a measurable difference Preferred:
• Experience creating and support OLAP / SSAS Cubes.
