Adecco is working with a company in West Salem, WI in hiring a Screen Press Operator.
Screen Press Operator Duties & Responsibilities
- Reads job order and loads screens into press, install materials into feed unit.
- Fill ink into screen.
- Starts press, adjusting speed and alignment of stock to the print cylinder as necessary.
- Engages print unit to feed sheets into cylinder; adjusts printing impression as necessary.
- Pull sheet from press, inspect for imperfections, ink adhesion and register color to color.
- Cleans screens, squeegee and floor bar as needed, performs daily, weekly and monthly maintenance as required.
- Mixes inks to produce and maintain desired colors and viscosity.
Screen Press Operator Requirements & Skills
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Must be able to read and interpret ruler, scales and other measurement devices.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and frequently is required to walk
- The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 30 pounds with or without mechanical assistance
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Screen Printing Press Operator (Screener).
The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in screen printing and will operate the latest automatic screen printing machinery.
This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining screen printing presses, ensuring exceptional print quality, accuracy, and efficient production.

Responsibilities :
- Operate both automatic and manual feed screen printing presses.
- Efficiently set up and tear down jobs.
- Follow established workflow and quality standards.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail, print quality, registration, and production speed.
- Perform color checks during runs using densitometer for color verification.
- Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Learn to operate additional machinery as required.

- Excellent work habits, including the willingness to work extended hours during peak times.

Experience and Compensation :
Previous experience in screen printing is preferred and will be compensated
accordingly.
Additional Information :
Monday-Thursday, 6 : 30am-4 : 00pm and Friday, 6 : 30am-10 : 30am.
Pay is $16-18 / hr based on experience and knowledge.
