CAD Drafter

Drafter Needed

Overview

An established Boutique Interior Design Firm is looking for a drafter to join its team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with our lead designer and team on the following:

• Develop and draft space plans, elevations, design details as needed/required using one of the following: AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup and InDesign, Revit and 3D max modeling software
• Utilizes creative thinking to achieve innovative solutions
• Prepares detailed implementation documents, designs, plans, models and schemes
• Assists in supervising the preparation of design details and implementation documents by project team
• Host clientele at office and showroom making them feel welcome, taken care of and offer great customer service
• Assist in keeping office and showroom organized, clean and in tact

QUALIFICATIONS

• Typically 3 years of experience working in drafting in Interior Design, Architecture or related field
• Experience in Revit
• Strong Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup and InDesign and 3D max modeling software Required
• Proficiency in MS Office and GSuite preferred
• Experience with managing and performing duties in a fast-paced environment
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writing
• Ability to problem solve and apply innovative solutions
• Ability to collaborate and encourage collaboration in a team environment
• Ability to effectively meet deadlines at expected quality

POSITION is a part-time /$20-25hr
