Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive clinical anesthesiology services for patients undergoing various surgeries, including orthopedic, major vascular, thoracic, and others.
- Administer clinical care for patients undergoing electroconvulsive therapy and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
- Provide primary coverage in critical care settings, including the surgical intensive care unit, short-stay unit, and acute/chronic pain management, as well as emergency airway management.
- Offer consultative services at the patient bedside for non-ambulatory cases and in clinics for ambulatory cases.
- Ensure compliance with medication policies and procedures, abstaining from providing sample medications.
- Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions, coordinating with the next care setting.
- Establish mechanisms for timely communication of test results to patients.
- Engage in continuous quality improvement activities and attend relevant meetings as required by the facility.
- Provide clinical supervision to staff CRNA.
- Fulfill any other duties as outlined by the facility.
