Adelphi is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide nursing services at multiple facilities in Arkansas. The ideal candidate will provide nursing care to patients through collaborative efforts with health team members while adhering to standards of care and practice.

Requirements:
- AR license
- BLS
Responsibilities:
- Perform nursing assistant procedures and techniques under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
- Obtain data regarding the physical and behavioral status of the patient at prescribed intervals. (i.e. temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight)
- Report changes in the patient's physical status to RN in charge.
- Report changes in the mental status of the patient (e.g. attitude and behavior) to the nurse in charge.
- Interact in a therapeutic way with patients.
- Assist general hospital personnel with lifting and moving, carrying out programs of exercise, recreation, and social activities.
- Submit accurate oral reports to their supervisor at the end of the tour of duty.
- Assist patients with letter writing, phone calls, and other personal social tasks.
- Supervise and/or assist patients with meals as appropriate.
- Be constantly aware of safety considerations and the well-being of patients as well as the cleanliness and sanitation of the environment.
- Provide one-to-one supervision for psychiatric patients temporarily transferred to other local hospitals for services not available at the DHS facility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
