What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assoc Gift Shop position at Adena Health?
The Gift Shop Associate is responsible for providing assistance to the Gift Shop Coordinator in daily operations of the gift shop including: placing routine orders, entering inventory into the database, training new volunteers, file maintenance, displaying and rotating merchandise, assisting with clerical duties, periodically opening the gift shop during 3rd shift, and assisting with Lifeline clerical duties.

Job Duties:
- Place routine orders for candy, sundries, balloons, and snacks.
- Input inventory in database, both new and re-orders.
- Provides training for all new volunteers on gift shop policies and procedures.
- Maintain business files.
- Rotate and display merchandise in creative ways.
- Assist with payroll deductions as directed.
- Process daily cash deposits in the absence of Gift Shop Coordinator.
- Work as needed during 3rd shift openings.
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years retail experience and 1 year of clerical experience.
