What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Support Staff position at Adept Assessment Center?

Multi-location substance use disorder treatment facility is offering an excellent career opportunity for an individual interested in a receptionist/office support position.

This position is a full time (32-38 hours per week) non-exempt position, that reports to the Administrator and is responsible for supporting the administrative and clinical operations of the agency.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • General office support
  • Greets patients
  • Telephone and in-person reception tasks
  • Scheduling and checking in patients
  • Checking insurance coverage
  • Data entry
  • Filing & file storage management
  • Collect and store client data in a manner that meets HIPAA requirements
  • Processing client payments
  • Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • UA collection
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

One year clerical/receptionist experience; or two years customer service experience.

HIPPA knowledge required

Prior office experience in a medical setting preferred

Skills:

  • Computer skills required. Proficient in Word, Adobe, and Excel preferred. Ability to spell accurately and form comprehensive written dialog. Able to clearly communicate and collect information from patients, external partners, and referents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
