Hospice Aide / HHA

Adept Hospice Care is looking for compassionate nurses that are committed to provide quality and utmost care to our patients in the end stages of their life. We are looking for CHHA/ Hospice Aide in the area of Orange county, LA County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and surrounding areas.

Hiring ASAP for Glendale and Van Nuys area.

BLS certificate

**Job Title: Hospice Aide**

**Duties:**

- Provide personal care and assistance to hospice patients in their homes or in a facility setting

- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Perform catheter care

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation

- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments

- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times

- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature

- Keep patient's environment clean and safe

**Skills:**

- Experience in assisted living or long-term care settings preferred

- Skilled in providing catheter care and managing urinary catheters

- Familiarity with medical records documentation and maintaining accuracy

- Ability to provide specialized care for patients with dementia or cognitive impairments

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality

- Competent in monitoring and recording vital signs accurately

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe environment
