Aderant is seeking a Director of Operations to lead our Operations team.

This role will be responsible for creating, establishing, and improving Professional Services operational, reporting, and project oversight processes across the global professional services division. This role will oversee a broad set of operational functions, including resource planning, project status review and reporting, departmental financial performance reporting and analysis, and internal processes and procedures. This role will operate globally and work closely with Professional Services group leaders and teams to establish and drive a standard, consistent approach to operational processes, while participating and supporting decision making in department planning and other strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee team providing support services including, project operations and business operations & performance management.
- Partner with Professional Services senior leadership to establish strategic plans, operational & financial objectives to improve productivity and performance.
- Oversee monthly client invoicing process and financial forecasting and analysis.
- Leverage data to measure and track critical KPIs and present findings and actionable insights.
- Participate in and oversee development of new business quoting and Statement of Work development.
- Oversee team running revenue generating support cases and enhance transactional nature of cases.
- Oversee certain PMO processes, including creation and implementation of policies for project oversight to promote best practices and track and analyze project performance.
- Develop, refine, and improve project processes, identify opportunities for process and technology improvement and optimization.
- Contribute to major initiatives across the Professional Services, Operations and Enablement teams.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7-15 years of project management experience or related delivery and strategy experience, preferably in a Professional Services or Consulting environment working with enterprise software.
- Strong history of executing the vision of senior management.
- Strong organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills required.
- Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team.
- Excellent analytical thinking abilities.
- Highly computer literate with in-depth knowledge of project management tools and web-based systems.
