Responsibilities
MRI Technologist / MRI Tech / MRI
The MRI Technologist will:
- Perform examinations to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care
- Assist with the workflow of the department to ensure the completion of work assignments
- Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and competency in clinical area of the practice
- Demonstrate the ability to use all channels of communication to address inter- and intradepartmental concerns, solve problems, and address conflict.
- Comply with clinical accreditation requirements and submission deadlines
- Assist with clinical accreditation applications and inspections
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MRI / CT Technologist
Qualified candidates will have:
- Radiological experience, preferably in the areas of MRI, CT procedures is preferred;
- ARRT Certification RT (R), ARRT RT (MR)(CT) a plus.
- Working knowledge of applicable MRI/CT scan technology is required
- CPR certification is required
- State Licensure required for CT
- IV skills required.
- The COVID-19 vaccination is/may be a condition of employment.
Education
- Completion of an accredited ARRT program and at least 1 year MRI/CT experience.
- Advanced modality certification is a plus.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Familiarity with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
